  • Unify waste collection - no more bin tags
  • Upgrade our recycling
• Remove Fuel Tax - Replace with electronic toll system
• Start Penlink NOW - Engage private entity to commence building it
  • Toll the Penlink - but start it now!
• Stop frivolous spending on non-essential items and redirect funds to the city priorities.

  • Are ‘redos’ under warranty or is the Council being screwed by the contractors?
  • Why are so many bad roads ignored outside of Central Auckland?
• Council Building Consents
  • More power to stop rogue builders and contractors
  • Fines for developers breaking rules
  • Undo the ties that force public to go with civil action
• No more weed spraying with chemicals.
• CCO’s to be brought back into line by introducing voted representatives (Councillors) onto the boards. Reduce budgets to core services only.

  • Stop the bad modifications and additions to roads
  • No more ignoring public input and needs
•  Mowing and maintenance of our streets - berms should be directly Council - not AT
  • Allow free-permit berm gardens - with rules and restrictions

• Council staff numbers and wages
• Consultancy costs - eg. The $260k mirror
  • All consultants will be heavily scrutinised to find their purpose and costs
• Bus lane fines - let’s make things clear and fair
• Put community groups and sports back as a priority
  • No more land grabs by RFA and Panuku
